Christian's Last practice

I love my son so much and one of the things that tickles me about him is that I feel like I am getting to watch my husband grow up all over. Their tendencies are so much alike that I just have to giggle. Christian was having his last soccer practice of the season and they were suppose to give it one last hard sprint to the tree and back. The coach said go and the kids began going as fast and hard as they could, that is everyone but Christian. Christian casually jogged to the tree(not wanting to break a sweat) when another friend realized that Christian was falling behind. While all the other kids pushed each other out of the way to finish first, Christian and his buddy decided to stop running at the tree and begin making small talk, as they slowly finished to the end (Giving it their best "cool strut!) Yes, I know I should be encouraging him to give it his all, but at the age of 4 I just could not help loving observing my mini-John!

Our First Blog for the Johnson Bunch

We have had several requests to keep everyone updated with pix for our family, so hopefully this will help. We just got back from Schlitterban and Austin and had an absolute ball! The kids loved the park. Kaylin went with a fear of water and came back diving into the swimming pool with no life jacket around and no adult supervision! (scared me to death!) Both Christian and Kaylin came back super attached to Daddy and cried when he had to go back to work. God definitely blesses our family trip times! The kids caught their first fish with my dad and we went to the Oasis with my brother and danced up a storm by the lake. We came back and went to John's mom and Dad's house and the kids got to ride the combine with Grandpa. Christian got to live out every little boy's dream in the big Farm Machines! Kaylin got to experience her first real piggy in a pen.She is making us watch "Babe" every since we got back and Christian wants to learn about all the big trucks.
I am teaching fitness classes and have loved it. John got another "sale bug" and is putting our house up for sale again. We always have to have a project going to keep us out of trouble! Ha! Ha!
