Well I don't know about you, but I have so many things in my life that I get frusterated at myself for doing over and over again. God has revealed them to me, but I truly have to depend on him daily to deliver me from these strongholds that I have. I have many times asked myself why if I am a Christian do I have to deal with it daily? I am reading Beth Moores book "Breaking Free" and her devotional book and I thought she explained it so well.
"Lord, our God, other lords than You have ruled over us, but we remember Your name Alone." Isaiah 26:13
Few things beyond our salvation are "once and for all." If God were to deliver us instantaneously from a stronghold or addiction, we would see His greatness once, but we would likely soon forget... and we'd risk going back.
On the other hand, if God teaches us victory in Jesus Christ day by Day, then learn to live in the constant awareness of His greatness and His sufficiency. Hard lessons are often long-lasting lessons.
Never forget the fact that God is far more interested in our getting to know the Deliverer than in simply being delivered.
Hope that helps any of you that get frusterated at yourself and just know that it was all apart of Gods perfect plan for us to depend on him!

Kaylin's 3rd Birthday
Well here is our little princess on her 3rd birthday and a princess day it was! We dressed her up in her tutu, princess shirt and hot pink sparkle shoes to go to church and then headed to Mr. Gattis with family. She sat in her princess chair, ate princess cake and opened her princess presents, but don't forget portraying her toddler princess attitude!
You can see brothers excitement over this day in the back of this picture. Her obsession is animals and loves the grandparents dogs, so we gave in and got her one. John said since he paid for it, he would name it! The name is Kobe Bryant, but we call him Kobe for short. We are just hoping he exhibits the same athletic ablity. This is our Golden Doodle which she is thrilled about! (Part golden retriever, part poodle)
